In the festive but calming atmosphere, an eclectic collection of well-wishers joined Rafael to remind him that he is finally in his late 30s. Scott Lekush, Chris Sorenson, Doug Albert, Mary Reilly, Alex Cohen, and StephenDe Rosa (fresh from his Broadway role in Hairspray!) joined dozens others who were mostly good natured when this blogger's camera reared its inevitable lens in search of images (which you are welcome to click to expand, including some images taken around the East Village).
