I blogged last week about the donor milk bank in Vancouver that is the first and only one of its kind in Canada. The twins received donor milk for four days last week, before moving on to EBM (topped up with formula). It became clear to me when talking to the nurses and physicians that it is considered to be a precious commodity that is very short supply. (You'll notice from the photo below that the hospital does not have labels that say "Aunt's Surname." I asked, but they have none.)
