Tom Suozzi, who is running for Governor, noticed, however; he suggested to Tasini that he, and not, Spitzer, was the true anti-war candidate for Governor. Maybe Rep. Rangel doesn't know who is running in the Democratic primary for Governor either? Despite polling that shows the vast majority of New Yorkers are against the war, support for pro-war Hillary seems to continue unabated. Can she be stopped? I will be at the 72nd Street and Broadway subway station handing out Tasini campaign material. Contact me if you want to volunteer. Tasini is basically the anti-Hillary: a cadidate loyal to the values of the Democratic Party. He offers comprehensive analysis of and solutions to immigration problems, supports marriage equality for same-sex couples, promotes universal health care, and sharply criticizes the war in Iraq.
