This Blogger's helpful message, heavily laden with sarcasm: If you don't like that they voted to recess, you know we have something called elections. Vote against them. Oh, right, we just had an election and pro-gay candidates gained support, whereas right-of-centre anti-gay candidates lost support. So maybe that explains why you anti-gay loonies are suing in FEDERAL court for $5 million to compel the state legislature do what you can't otherwise achieve. (That's $46,000 per legislator; steep price to pay for a vote, isn't it?) And what happened to separation of powers and federalism? You were for states' rights until you couldn't get the state to do what you wanted, now you ask the Federal Judiciary to order them to do so? Incomprehensible on so many counts I won't even bother trying to enumerate them. No surprise that you are the same gang that believes an American military presence in Iraq will successfully export this type of (sore-loser) Democracy to the Middle East? I am glad Johnny Tremain was only a figment of Esther Forbes' imagination, as I would be hard-pressed to explain to him what is going on in Boston these days.
