Each contestant designed a dining room for a chef. Goil was praised by one judge for ingeniously creating a hanging chandelier made from flowers, but (given the opportunity to do by the judges) his fellow contestants trashed it. One said he feared eating under it because things may fall into his food. Andrea's was simply exquisite using simple colors and lines, it was formal and luxurious. Michael's was a bizarre mess of textures and colors, but the most unappealing aspect was a carpet that looked like it belonged in a casino (the judges called it "airport carpeting"). Carissa oddly chose to buy deck chairs and dress them in slip covers made from an brownish plaid fabric. Yuck! She also forgot to set the table with flatware (because she ran out of time). Goil's room (pictured right, Bravo TV) was a mix of his eclectic taste and some formal lines. As I mentioned above, his chandelier rocked. Unlike Michael's mess of chairs, Goil's mix of seating had a continuity of theme and was not as hard to rationalize. Despite some frustration with his carpentry skills, he pulled off a very unGoil-like room. He did reprise his Jan Brady line again, but we can forgive him for that.
